Account Settings and Setup

Can I use my Globaltech account from anywhere in the world?
Any tone-dial telephone line (including mobile phones and fax machines) anywhere in the world can be used in callback service.

How soon will my account be activated?
After submitting your order and making the initial pre-payment of minimum $10 US to each account (each phone number assigned to Globaltech), we will activate your account(s) within 24 hours.

How many phone numbers can I link my Globaltech account to?
You can sign up to four (4) numbers.

Do I have to change my existing long distance provider in order to use the Globaltech service?
No, our services do not require changing long distance provider.

Do I need any special equipment to use my Globaltech Account?
No, no special equipment is needed. You do not need to have a computer or internet to call, but it is required a touch-tone phone handset.

How can I use Globaltech’s Global Calling Cards?
Our Global Calling Cards do not need fixed Call Back Number, it is
PIN based and you can use it from any (tone-dial) phone. Please see our instructions for Global Calling Cards and Access Numbers.

Languages and Voice Quality

What languages are supported by Globaltech Automated Machine Service?
The voice prompt supports 8 languages, which are: English, French, Russian, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese(Cantonese), Chinese(Hakka) and Japanese.

How clear is the Globaltech reception?
Globaltech uses the routes of the best telecom carriers in North America and Europe, providing callers the finest quality service currently available.

Payments and Rates

Will I be charged for the time of dialing the destination number?
No, we charge only connected calls, when the party at the destination number answers. Also you will be charged if you dial our Automated Menu System (see your rate to AMS)

What currency will I be charged in?
You will be charged in US Dollars.

What methods of payment can I use?
You can pay by: Credit Card, Wire Transfer, Western Union, Moneybookers.com

How can I check the balance on my account?
You will have real time Internet access to your account with Globaltech, you can do that also using our Automated Menu System, when you enter 999 upon receiving callback.

How can I calculate my rates?
Please use our rate calculator or use the formula:"Rate for Country Calling From" + "Rate for Country Calling To". Please pay attention to different rates "to" and "from" mobile phones. Contact us for rates not listed.

Account Terminations and Cancellation

Will my Globaltech account ever expire?
If your account has a US$ 0.00 balance for more than 30 days then it will be terminated. If your account was removed, you are always welcome to open a new one when you need it.

Can I cancel my Globaltech account at any time without any incurring penalties or extra charges?
Of course, contact customer service and inform that you want to cancel account.
